Specific to food trucking safety, we utilize the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) management system to provide a comprehensive food safety program and corresponding training.

Trucking Safety Equipment

Vehicle and equipment inspection and maintenance is a top priority for Foodliner. To ensure our vehicles are operating safely at all times, we have highly qualified personnel who perform daily maintenance, inspections, and repairs – all of which are required to be properly documented. We utilize:

Truck Driver Safety

Foodliner has a rigorous process for selecting drivers. We take several factors into consideration when hiring in order to be certain that we’re only employing the most qualified and prudent drivers. Some of the components we look at when making hiring decisions are:

  • Amount of experience
  • Types of trainings completed
  • Driving records
  • Background checks

Once a driver is hired and becomes part of our team, they undergo our driver training program, regardless of their experience level. Additionally, all drivers continually receive refresher training courses pertaining to trucking safety.

  • Comprehensive Driver Risk Assessment Tracking

CSA Compliance for Safety

We operate in compliance with Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA), an enforcement program of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for safety compliance.

Drivers’ roles under this program include:

  • No speeding
  • Conducting thorough pre/post trip inspections
  • Keeping records/paperwork up to date, including:
    • E-log signoffs
    • Data sheets
    • License
    • Medical certificate/card
